The Window

Words By:: ecopoet

Gazing out the window of perception

Feelings appear larger than they seem

Doubts, fears and grey guilt

Hit hard against the glass

An intensity of words not spoken

Recycle and re-filtering

Slamming against the window pane

Framed by wooden limitations

Occupied territory, history of genetic handcuffs

Clamp down,  suffocating the heart

Frozen, the window remains firmly shut!

Push through to the other side~~

Unlock the glass of conscience

True perspective lives on the “other side”
