pencil to paper

Words By: ecopoet

fingers embrace yellow soft wood

lead anticipating release onto the page

mind travels off in wonder

super natural time and age

glistening thoughts of another world

Swirl from mind to finger

you live to feel the release

leaving black letters linger

colourful ~ vivid words

 fall onto free open space

pencil follows the line

lead words never to be erased

days, moments, come and go

at their own controlling pace

as the free yellow pencil merrily flows

to a rhythm of it’s own grace
